This painted cast water putty relief, is a small-scale study of the large-scale fabricated bronze version of "Drop Leaf Chicken." The large-scale version of “Drop Leaf Chicken” was first exhibited at the Chicago International Sculpture Exhibition at Navy Pier, was installed briefly in front of the South Dakota Art Museum, and is now permanently installed on Main Street in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
